How much fits in a storage container?
UrBin Stash containers are designed for the everyday items that crowd closets, bedrooms, dorms, and garages. A bin is a good fit for folded clothing, shoes, books, small kitchen items, linens, toys, décor, keepsakes, and similar household belongings. How long can I store my containers?
Store for as long as you need, subject to your service agreement. UrBin Stash is designed for flexible monthly storage, whether you need extra space for a season, a semester, a move, a renovation, or a longer life transition.
Can I access my stored items?
Yes. When you need something, request the container you want returned and we will coordinate delivery back to you. Standard return-delivery fees apply according to your plan, so you can access your belongings without making a trip to a storage facility.
Are my belongings insured?
UrBin Stash stores your containers with care, but customers should confirm the protection provided under their service agreement and any applicable homeowner, renter, or personal-property insurance. For high-value or irreplaceable items, contact us before storing them so we can discuss whether they are appropriate for the service.
How quickly can my containers be returned?
Return timing depends on availability, your location, and the service requested. We recommend scheduling ahead whenever possible. If you need a bin quickly, call 303-330-0350 and we will tell you the earliest available return window.
How does UrBin Stash work?
We deliver. You pack. We pick up. We store. You request it back. We bring reusable bins to your door, you pack them at your pace, and we pick them up for secure storage. When you need a stored bin again, request a return delivery and we bring it back to you.
Why use reusable bins instead of cardboard boxes?
Reusable bins are sturdy, stackable, cleaner to handle, and do not require you to buy, tape, break down, and dispose of piles of cardboard. They are especially convenient for apartments, students, downsizing projects, and recurring seasonal storage.
What does the initial service include?
Your initial empty-container delivery is free, and your first pickup of packed containers is also free. A one-time setup fee applies based on your package. Future return deliveries and additional pickups are priced separately as shown in the pricing section below.
What items are not allowed?
For safety and legal reasons, containers may not hold:
- Flammable liquids or fuels
- Explosives or hazardous materials
- Illegal items
- Perishable food
- Live plants or animals
- Wet, leaking, or contaminated items
Do I need to rent a truck?
No. UrBin Stash delivers the containers, picks them up after you pack, stores them securely, and returns them when requested. There is no truck rental and no need to make repeated trips to a self-storage facility.
